The Physiotherapy Clinic – Your questions answered

What do we offer at The Physiotherapy Clinic?

More than just Physio. Based in Saltash for over 30yrs, we now have a clinic in Liskeard, and also offer Sports Therapy, massage, acupuncture, Pilates, shockwave, prenatal massage, with our expanding team.

Why should I see a Private Physio when its free on the NHS?

We have the luxury of time to spend listening and finding out what really is bothering you. Time to treat you in as many or few sessions as required. Time to see you when its convenient for you. We are open 8am to 8pm most days.

We use a holistic approach using hands-on manual therapy skills alongside exercise and advice.

We have a team of therapists and can usually offer appointments within 48 hours. We do see a lot of patients whilst they are on the waiting list for the NHS to get the ball rolling.

All our Physios are at least 4 years qualified so you will be getting the best treatment. We have Physios that specialise in shoulder injuries, sports injuries (from football to horse riding), weight-management, and more.

How many sessions would I need?

This depends on lots of factors…what the problem is, how long you have had it for and also your situation – we understand there is a financial consideration to coming to see us – if you can only afford one session we will do our utmost in one session.

Do you just treat sports injuries?

No, definitely not…. we do have therapists that specialise in sports but we also treat all muscle/joint injuries. It is not all about pain….you may need to us because of stiffness or inability to do your normal activities. You may need help with managing your weight and obtaining a healthy balanced lifestyle. You may also be at risk of falls or struggling with your balance. So no not just sports!
